Safana does not provide medical advice, diagnoses, or treatment, and it does not make medical decisions. No. Safana is an independent, non-clinical medical travel coordination company. We may cooperate with multiple hospitals and healthcare providers to facilitate patient communication and travel arrangements. Safana does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, insurance, or guarantees regarding medical outcomes.
How is treatment actually paid for?
Hospitals invoice you directly for treatment. Safana's fee only covers coordination and travel support services, quoted separately and up front.
What if I need a companion or family member with me?
Many people traveling for medical care choose to bring a companion or family member. Safana can include companion accommodation, transportation, and travel coordination in the patient's personalized service proposal.
Can my home doctor stay involved?
We can help translate and share documentation provided by your hospital with your home physician, and support coordinating any recommended local follow-up. Medical decisions remain between you and your doctors.
How far in advance should I start?
Timelines vary depending on the hospital, procedure, and visa requirements. We recommend reaching out as early as possible, and we'll work with whatever timeline you have.
